Resolving Workplace Conflict

Working with many teams and organisations, I often come across people who are not comfortable to deal with each other. Sometimes there is a passive avoidance, sometimes there is obvious exclusion, and sometimes there is visible conflict which takes many forms. If you are leading a team, or in a situation where there is tension with another co-work or even your leader, it can be hard to move forward, think clearly or be productive. Even when working remotely, if we are not able to resolve the conflict, we might end up creating work arounds, or avoid a particular person altogether. This kind of conflict can be disabling and consume us. Resolving workplace conflict is critical to ensure that we feel empowered, productive and safe.
